Floating point data types

The 32-bit data type float and the 64-bit data type double represent the real types in Java.
They can be expressed as a number with decimals or with exponential notation in which a number is followed by the letter E or e and another number.
The second number is the power of then with which the first number is multiplied.

Min and Max values of datatype float

The class ‘Float’ is a wrapper class for the datatype float, and it has two static variables that contains the minimum and maximum values of the float datatype: MIN_VALUE and MAX_VALUE.
You can print out the min and max values of the float datatype by specifying these variables as arguments to System.out.
