Case-Sensitivity and Whitespace


As Java is a case-sensitive language, the reserved keywords (see later in this chapter) are always written in lowercase.
So for example 'for', 'For' and 'FOR' is not the same thing and variable names that you declare must always be written as they were initially declared.
Spaces, tabs, newlines, and other whitespace are ignored in Java, except when it appears within quoted characters and string literals.
